My puppy is peeing constantly. Why is she urinating so frequently?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 7 days old | 2.7 lbs

Why is my puppy peeing every 10-15 minutes? She has peed four times in the last 30 minutes. And she peed a lot today.

She lkely has a urinary tract infection. This causes pets to pee often and can also their urine to smell fishy or foul in odor. I would recommend taking Rosie to your vet soon to have her urine tested so that she can get the appropriate antibiotic treatment soon to get this resolved. Best wishes with your pet Rosie moving forward. Take care!

Hello. I am sorry that Rosie is having these issues. Shaking and increased urination can be from many causes. Shaking is a sign of discomfort and pain, and increased urination can be due to a urinary tract infection, kidney disease, toxins, and other causes. I would recommend that you bring Rosie to a vet and have them check the urine for an infection. They may also want to do some bloodwork to check for metabolic diseases. Good luck with Rosie.
