Oh my. Dog bite wounds need to be treated by a medical professional. I would highly recommend taking Drugs in to your local veterinarian right away for medical care and attention. She needs antibiotics and proper cleaning and possibly suturing of her wounds based on how deep and extensive they are.     This is a medical emergency, and your cat has to see a vet immediately. She needs veterinary attention if she is severely injured. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

Hello, I would like to know what can be done right now its like real emergency the problem is that my cat was being attacked by some dogs and now in very bad condition. Its real hard to explain so i am posting a few pictures of her.
Poor bhoori, she requires an emergency veterinary assessment to determine the extent of her injuries and any chest trauma or fractures. Hi my cat just got bit by a dog and has 2 holes I don't know what to do
First make sure your cat is not acting abnormal or is breathing hard. If she seems to be her normal self, but a bit agitated, then she is OK to do some first aid. If not, then she should go to the vet as soon as possible. The best thing to do is flush the wounds with clean water for five minutes. You want to apply good force to the water, so it gets to the bottom of the holes. If the holes are over the rib cage, then do not do this. For now, do not apply any antiseptics or soaps, because this can actually do more damage than good. After doing this, you should schedule an appointment with your veterinarian. The wounds should be explored to ensure the wounds did not go too deep and to ensure a bad infection does not develop. The sooner she sees a vet, then less likely she is to develop a major complication. I hope that helps and Raven gets better soon.

Hello ! My poor cat is attacked by a dog , she is wounded & i washed her wounds and sprayed povidone iodine powder over wounds & I live in village and there is no veterinary hospital near me but there is medical , please tell me which medicine should
Although a picture of the wounds would help to determine more specifically the most appropriate treatment needed, bite wounds/injuries are infected for definition so antibiotics (like amoxicillin and clavulanic acid at 12,5mg/kg twice daily and painkillers -specifically designed for cats like Meloxicam or carprofen for example would help-. Disinfection of the wounds can be possibly started with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Stitches may be needed depending on the type of wounds.

My outdoor cat fred got attacked and there is pus and a piece of his ear hanging off, we don't have enough money for the vet, Can you suggest anything?
He definitely must see a vet as he needs an antibiotic injection, i can't recommend any home treatment in this case i'm afraid, it would be irresponsible from my part. If money is an issue please contact a cat charity in your area of living, they can help with costs of treatment in many cases. That's a deep wound. Your cat needs to be taken to the vet right away. If she was attacked by another animal, she needs to be updated on her rabies vaccine, and likely needs a course of antibiotics, which can only come from your vet. That wound may need to be cleaned and explored as well, depending on how it looks on exam.

I would strongly recommend taking her to your vet as she will need to have an antibiotic injection to prevent an infection from surely happening. the are should be clipped and clean as much as possible but a course of antibiotics is crucial.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. She looks like she is experiencing some swelling in the face and is almost certainly in some pain. I understand that you don't have much money, but she almost certainly requires pain medication, anti-inflammatory medication, and antibiotics. The wounds on the face should be clipped around then cleaned with antiseptic in order to disinfect. Depending on the size of any wounds, they may need to be closed with stitches. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Oh no! Poor Killer! you need to get Killer to a Vet today. The wound itself needs surgery to explore it and close it with stitches. But the Vet has to make sure that the leg isn't broken and he isn't in shock. Ultimately if it is just the wound he should be fine. He will need that wound addressed. I wish Killer the best!
