My dog ate rope and has bloody stool. Is his intestine injured?

good day, my dog ate some rope last nigh (not thick rope, quite thin and i think its made of cotton) but this afternoon I saw some mucus blood mixed with grass on my lawn and am scared that the rope could have injured his intestines. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 94 lbs

If he ate rope and he is now having bloody stool, it is possible he has an intestinal obstruction or a very upset stomach. Your veterinarian will do a full physical exam and determine if additional diagnostic tests such as x-rays or bloodwork are warranted. Good luck and I hope Cujo feels better soon.
