Why is my 12-year-old dog peeing and pooping frequently, but little?

My dog wants to go outside and pee and poop every ten minutes and only does a little what could it be. She is 12 years old

There may be an infection or metabolic/endrocrine problem causing this problem. Older dogs can get kidney disease, diabetes or cushings which can cause an increase in urination. Bladder infections or stones can also cause an urge to go with little production. I would have your vet check a blood and urine sample to see what is going on for the best treatment plan
