Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 4 months and 25 days old | 22 lbs

Hello My dog is diagnosed with canine demodex and we are treating him with amitraz and benzoyl peroxide cream The first picture is the stages he passed and the last 2 pictures is Tyson today. His skin looks its healing but i want to know when his hair will come all and can this disease be repeated. Please recommend us something to use in his skin to help his body hair come faster. And any other medicine he needs?

There is definitely an improvement, it can take several months until the skin recovers completely, just continue the treatment and i would also recommend using Bravecto tablet, this also treats demodex and will help restore the skin.
