Vet said my dog has too much protein. Can exercise avoid diet change?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | 3 years and 6 months old | 70 lbs

The vet said my dog was getting too much protein. Can I keep feeding the same diet if my dog increases their exercise?

This depends on why the concern arose - if this is due to obesity then yes, increased exercise and reduced food intake of the same diet may be sufficient. If however there is any concern about skin issues, liver or kidney function then no, a change of diet would be preferable. I recommend you telephone your vets office and confirm the reasons for the recommendation given
