What can I put on a Kitten's (three weeks old) genital/butt area for 'diaper rash'?

A aloe vera or comfrey ointment can be used but be careful to check it is zinc oxide free as kittens are inclined to lick and ingest any ointments! Nappy rash crean (zinc free) can also be sued but tends to be heavier and less well absorbed, increasing the risk of ingestion. Careful dietary management and regular deworming can help improve stool quality and reduce the risk of it developing
