My dog has eye boogers and sneezing. Is it pink eye or allergies?

I’m concerned that my dog has pink eye, but he is sneezing a lot as well. He woke up with a lot of eye boogers so I took a wet wash cloth and cleaned his face but now he will get into sneezing fits and there is still stuff coming out of his eye. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 13 lbs

Poor Noodle. It looks like the discharge is a whitish grey color which means it is likely allergy related. I would try some benadryl twice a day to see if that helps. If it isn't improving, it gets worse, he starts quinting, or the discharge is yellow/green, I would have your vet take a look as he will likely need some antibiotic drops.
