Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 61 lbs
My dog has been dealing with allergies this week, and though I’m not sure this is related, I am now seeing a knot on the top of her head that I never noticed before. Could the bump be related to her allergies? It’s hard, could she have bumped her head?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Brooklyn. I do not believe the bump is related to her allergies as it appears to be underneath her skin. Allergies typically affect the skin itself. She will need to see her veterinarian for a procedure known as a fine needle aspirate. The veterinarian will use a small needle to collect a sample of cells and evaluate them under the microscope. The goal is to be able to tell you what the bump is and if treatment is necessary. I hope this information helps!
