How to time twice-daily tramadol doses for dog eye ulcer pain?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 7 years and 7 months old | 14.5 lbs

Hi lily was diagnosed with an eye ulcer today and as well as drops I was given 10mg tramadol for her pain I was told to give her 1 twice daily She had her first at 1pm this afternoon when could I give her a second tonight? How many hours should they be apart please ?

Twice a day usually means every 12 hrs. Since this is a very small amount of tramadol, you can give her the second dose this evening. FIgure out when you get up in the morning, say 7 AM, then give it to her this evening at 7 PM, or if you get up at 9AM, give it to her at 9PM tonight.
