My cat's poop is runny at the end and color changed. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 11 lbs

Hello! Graphic pictures attached! I’m worried about my cats’s BMs. He’s about 2 years old and was abused when he was younger. His lower abdomen area is compressed as a result of being tied to a pole. He had some trouble with constipation and I’ve been changing his food to find one that works. We’ve been to the vet and she said all was fine as related to the constipation. Recently his stools have been looking a bit runny at the ends and the color has chnaged. Should I worry!?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. To be honest, I’m not terribly concerned about the stools in the photos. They could be a little soft at the end due to a little stress, a recent food change or other, but it appears mild at this time. If you’d like to do something to support Bogul, try a probiotic (my favorite is Purina Fortiflora- my cat LOVES it). If they become more soft at any point, or Bogul shows any other worrisome signs, see your vet at that point. Best of luck to you and Bogul!
