Just rescued a puppy, looks underweight. Should I get him to the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 6 days old | 55 lbs

Recently recued a 9month old puppy about 55 lbs Shepard whippet mix.who may be under weight im unsure if I should wait for his yr shots or bring him early we don't believe the previous owners had him to a vet.

Vaccine are very important and I would not hesitate to take Trigger to the veterinarian as soon as possible. Also, he may have intestinal parasites that contribute to underweight condition. Good luck with him and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach
