How do I feed my new sun conure? Pellets, seeds, and healthy treats?

What do you recommend I need my new sun conure? I have been giving him seeds, bits of fruit, and such lately. I would just like to know the best thought on what to feed him! I.e. treats and normal diet. Should I buy pellets and change out his food between seeds and pellets daily? Can I offer him dry food treats? What is a good snack/treat for him that’s healthy? Pet's info: Bird | Conure | Male | 3 months and 29 days old

Hello. You will want to use a very good formulated pelleted feed for Loki. Stay away as much as possible from all seed diets. Pellets should compromise 75-80% of the total daily food intake. 20% of the diet should be fruits, vegetables & greens ( not lettuce ). Nutri-berries would be a good treat, but keep the amounts small. And of course, fresh water daily. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
