My dog has red, dry, itchy skin from dust. What can I apply?

Charlie got into a pile of dust when we were at the park and he spent a few hours constantly scratching his neck and armpit area. I gave him a bath when we got home and checked for fleas or any other bug and he is clean. After that I noticed that his skin is a little dry and red in that area. Can I apply some lotion or something? Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | neutered | 2 months and 10 days old | 22 lbs

If that doesn't seem to help and Charlie's skin continues to look red or he appears bothered by his skin and itches or scratches, you may want to take him to his veterinarian. I hope this helps!
