My cat is throwing up blood, not eating, and acting weird. What to do?

Hi...my cat acting very weird..standing and staring on the ground all day...throwing up and poop blood...and didnt eat anything since yesterday what we should do doctor?

Hello, sorry to hear about Aster. It sounds like your cat could have something in his intestines such as a linear foreign body. However, other causes of this could include infections with parasites or viruses. It sounds like Aster could require immediate medical attention and be hospitalized. He should be evaluated by his veterinarian immediately. Hope this helps and best of luck.

    Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry to hear Franco has been vomiting recently. It is hard to say exactly what the cause of his symptoms are without examining Franco first as there are many medical causes to the symptoms you have described. He could have a foreign body, polyp, or tumor in his throat. He may have something infectious like a virus or organ dysfunction contributing to his nausea. My best advice is to have Franco seen by his veterinarian very soon so a diagnosis can be established and Franco can get the proper treatments he needs.
