My dog was mated 2 months ago, no pregnancy signs, now bleeding. Why?

my siberian husky went on heat 2 months ago and was mated. She did not show any signs of pregnancy . She had bleeding for about 3 days now. What could this be? Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 32 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would have her examined by your Vet. I would worry she could have an infected uterus or be trying to deliver. She could be pregnant but with one or 2 puppies. Vaginal bleeding off from a normal heat cycle is not normal. An infected uterus is life threatening. It is best to be safe and have her seen.
