Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 1 month and 11 days old
I am buying a puppy (red lab) from a reputable breeder. They are 6 weeks now. One of the puppies got a URI due to possible aspiration of milk at around 2-3 weeks old. They took puppy to vet at that time because wasn't gaining weight for couple days and was put on antibiotics and IV. The puppy bounced back soon after and is doing great now at 6 weeks. I am wondering if that incident can cause other problems later in the life of the puppy even though she seems completely normal now.

It should be just fine as long as there is no underlying condition to cause the aspiration. The most common being megaesophagus which will be a battle it’s whole life and require special needs for eating. If it was just a fluke on aspirating milk for one reason or another And has bounced back then it would be just fine
