You Hello, I have a question about my bunny, he’s blind on one eye and recently it has swollen up, there’s liquids coming out and the hair around his eye is already hard, I try to clean it with eye drops and wait and see what happens but I’m starting to get reslly worried but I do not have the possibility to take him to a vet right now, I thought maybe he got bacteria into his eye but I’m not sure, his eating and drinking habit are normal but he seems weak and tired and doesn’t move around

Hello, sorry to hear about Artemis. He could indeed have an infection on that eye, or he could have an ulcer since his eye appears to be shut. You can continue to clean the eye and apply the drops, but make sure the drops do not contain any steroids (dexamethasone, etc.). If this does not improve within 5 days, then Artemis may need to ultimately eye evaluated by his veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck.
