My stray cat is losing hair and has spots on its head and neck. Help!

I have a stray who been living for about 3 years now and I feed him but i don’t know what these spots are on the back of his head or on his neck and he is losing hair I think please help if you have any advice on this and sorry for the pictures I would appreciate it if u can help me by using these. Thanks !!! Pet's info: Cat | American Wirehair | Male | 1 year and 8 months old | 55 lbs

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. The picture shows extensive hair loss and some scabs underneath. The most likely cause for this is fleas. I would suggest trying a flea product on Whiskey. Ensure you get a safe product, lots of grocery store flea products can be very toxic to cats, and dog flea products are very dangerous and can be fatal to cats. Ask your vet which product you should use. Best of luck with Whiskey.
