My 17-year-old cat is peeing in bed. What's causing this new behavior?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

Our 17 year old cat sleeps with us at night but over last 3 months keeps urinating in the bed. No other problems that we know of just concerned .

Poor Pigglet. Since this is new and if you haven't already, I would have your vet take a look at him. With his age, it could be a simple urinary tract infection or something more serious like diabetes or kidney disease. All of these can cause an increase in drinking and make it harder for them to hold it when they are sleeping. Your vet will be able to do an urinalysis and blood work if needed. They will be able to get him started on the best treatment plan to help him feel better. I hope this helps and he starts to feel better soon.
