Why is my male bird building multiple nests in different pots?

Question

I have 2 pot in my cage,1 week ago the male starts to build the nest in 1st pot,he almost done its job.but now he starts to build the best in the 2nd pot.why? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

Birds, especially zebra finches, can be very finicky about their nests- my own have two nests they alternate between and even still they try to make a nest in the food dish as well! If you want them to stick to just one, you can remove the extra pot so that they are encouraged to keep making their first nest instead.
