My dog has an itchy, inflamed recessed vulva. What are my options?

Hi, my dog just finished two courses of antibiotics due to recurring UTI (proteus and ecoli). Her vulva is itchy, red and inflamed. She likely has a recessed vulva and there seems to be sebum coming out of the pores in the folded skin. I clean it with raw apple cider vinegar and Chlorhexidine. Is that fine? Will I need to clean it regularly indefinitely? What else can I do apart from surgery? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 years and 5 months old | 45 lbs

Aside from the vulvoplasty surgery which can be very successful, make sure your pet is at a healthy weight. If she is at all overweight, that can cause the skin folds to become deeper and more difficult to manage.
