My dogs cry in their crate at night after moving. What can I do?

Hello! We just moved to a new apartment and our 2 dogs (basset and English bulldog, 6&8 years) keep crying at night while in their crate. They never cried at our old place - they loved their crate! What should we do to help with the transition? Should we ignore them? Pet's info: Dog | Basset Hound | Male | neutered | 7 years and 10 months old | 60 lbs

If you have something from the "old" place, put it in the crate. that may provide some comfort. A pheromone product, such as the Adaptil collar or DAP plug in diffuser, may decrease any anxiety associated with the move. Keep a small nightlight on for them until they acclimate.
