Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 4 years and 7 months old | 56 lbs
I cant afford A Vet right now, but I think my dog has mange or allergies to fleas, we really only have fleas problems in the summer. But this year, her skin problem & hair loss is all year now. We bathe her sometimes 2 in a week because she smells. The skin is really dry and kinda caked on. When it started I thought it was hot spots, but developed in to something out of control!! The pictures are after 2 baths and a flea attack, so she really scratched them til they bled. Help me!!. Thanks SC

Hi. Poor Tiana!! Her skin looks really bad unfortunately. With this severity, there is nothing that will work from home. The underlying cause has to be determined. It could include the fleas...but other possibilities include deep infection, immune mediated diseases, low thyroid, and many more. Not is definitely looking out of control. She should be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible
