My puppy has a hacking cough after URI treatment. Is it kennel cough?

Hi- wejust took home our puppy yesterday. Has a hacking sound like cough She was treated for URI- with doxycline. Is this normal

It sounds as he was treated for kennel cough, which is a common disease in dogs, it's too bad they used doxycline at her age though, this is not recommended as it can stain the teeth for life. the coughing can last up to 3 weeks even with treatment.
