I am sorry to hear about Ellie but glad the itching has stopped! The skin around her eye looks a little red and I assume this is what you are speaking of. If her stitches were just removed in the past few days it is possible there was just some residual irritation from the sutures. We can also see inflammation around the eyes like this due to allergies. I would let your vet know about her eyelid and see if they feel a trial of an antihistamine such as diphenhydramine would be beneficial, or if they recommend a topical eye ointment on the lid to try to decrease irritation.

Hello, sorry to hear about Domino. It looks like the area has stitches and it looks like there is also some reddening of her conjunctiva. It may be that the suture material is irritating her eye a little and causing the redness. I would recommend having the eye examined to make sure the eye is not being irritated by the suture as this could lead to a corneal ulcer. If Domino develops any mucoid discharge, is squinting, rubbing at her eye, the she should be examined by a veterinarian sooner. Hope this helps and best of luck.
