Why is my Boston Terrier's eye shut, red, glossy, and looks blue?

My Boston terrier has one of her eye shut when I open it it is red around her eye but she has a glossy look over her eye and it looks blue

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Baylie! When it comes to eyes I consider any issue an emergency. Closing the eye indicates pain the glossy blue look like indicates inflammation of the cornea. Possible causes are: infection, allergies, a corneal ulcer, glaucoma or uveitis. A vet needs to diagnose the underlying issue as each is treated differently. I wish Baylie a speedy recovery!
