My puppy splashes water and lies in it. How to prevent infection?

Oscar loves water. When I give him water to drink in his bowl he drinks a little, then splashes the water on the floor & lays on it. I'm afraid he'll get fungal infection. How to amend this habit of Oscar? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 1 day old | 88 lbs

This will get better as he gets older. You can put a towel under his bowel if it won’t chew it up. Also just be sure to dry his belly after he gets wet. I wouldn’t be too concerned about a fungal infection as long as you keep the water clean. Just keep an eye on his skin. I hope this helps!
