Does my bearded dragon need D3 if it gets natural sunlight daily?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

If my beardie spends most of the day in natural sunlight should I still supply d3 or no? I read that they get it from natural sunlight in the wild.

It is true that vitamin D is obtained through sunlight, however I would still recommend supplementing Loki to ensure you won’t have any issues. The daily amount of sunlight may not be sufficient for him.
