My puppy grabbed rat poison but I removed it. What should I do now?

My puppy grabbed a piece of rat poison but I took it from her mouth no sooner than she picked it up what should I do I had it for a couple months now don't really. Know if it still any good

As long as she didn't ingest any, there is little concern that she will have any toxic effects. You can flush her mouth with water to help ensure there is no residue. It's best to find out the type of poison. If you have the packaging, then there should be a number to call in case of poisoning. If you call the number on the package (1-877-854-2494) you should be able to talk to someone at the animal poison control who can help you determine what chance there is of any toxic effects and if anything needs to be done.
