Hello. I am pet sitting a female spayed 8-year old yorkie. Since I have had her at my home, she's been panting heavily and it's growing to be a concern as to if this is normal or if it is not. I was worried she was too hot, however, I am not sure if that's the problem or not. Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 27 lbs

Panting in dogs may be due to a variety of reasons, including stress, heat, heart issues, pain, or another underlying issue. If the panting continues, or if she starts to display other symptoms, such as vomiting or inappetence, I would reach out to her regular veterinarian to see if any underlying issues need to be addressed.
