Kitten leg wound: Can I use Mupirocin until I can see a vet?

Question

I found my kitten sandy who has been An outside cat since she was born under my house hanging from her leg. I got her out and its swollen. And she has a wound on the back of her leg. I can't take her to the vet until monday though. Is it safe to use Mupirocin 2% on the wound? Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 7 days old

Unfortunately, Sandy needs a vet as soon as possible. I recommend not waiting until Monday. I would recommend finding a vet you can take her to so she can get care.
