Can my dog eat Milk-Bones? Are they safe and healthy for dogs?

Is milkbone bad for my dog? Why or why not? Please explain.

Milkbones, in moderation are fine to give your dog. They are typically pretty low in calories so they are a better treat than other chewy/jerky like treats. Just remember less than 10% of your dog’s diet should come from treats. The other 90% should come from a well balanced dog food.

    No they aren't. They are treats that also help dogs maintain fresh breathe. At any rate, any treat should be given in moderation to avoid excess calorie intake and subsequent weight gain. NO more than 1 a day is the recommendation. Best wishes and take care!
