My 4 month old boxer cross French bulldog was rescued from a tiny cage in a bit very nice let shop in Spain. He has diahhrea and has bright red streaks of blood in it occassionally but more often then not. We took him in a long walk today and has come back fallen asleep but was breathing very rapidly. He's calmed down now but is in a deep deep sleep and when women falls back asleep in a matter of minutes

Hi there! Sorry to hear that Bruno is not feeling well. The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Bruno evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. At the very least they can address dehydration if present and start him on anti-diarrhea medications. Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed for your boy!

It sounds as your pet is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, probably a severe infection. . i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
