What's the difference between Revolution Blue and Purple for cats?

I use Revolution on my cat monthly. The vet used to give me Revolution Blue...but this time I was given Revolution Purple. What is the difference between the two?? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9.3 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Revolution for cats in the blue box is for cats weighing 5.1-15 lbs and the purple box is for cats under 5 lbs. I would read the weight range on the box to be sure you got the right one. Have a good night
