My new kitten is hissing at my cat. Can they interact safely?

Hi. I adopted a 2 months old kitten. And Oliver is very excited and happy right now. He's sniffing and playing the bag I used to put my adopted kitten. Oliver is already to play right now with his new friend but the kitten is hissing. Can I let Oliver to interact with the kitten? He can't wait to play with him.

As long as Oliver is fully vaccinated, it would be fine to let them interact with supervision. The kitten is likely hissing out of instinct and won't necessarily attack Oliver. Usually the cats work out their differences in their own way, but you should be there in case they start acting aggressively towards each other. If they are starting to swipe at each other, then it would be best to give them a little more time separated before letting them interact again. Below is a link to an article with some good advice for introducing the two. https://www.petcoach.co/article/5-steps-to-introducing-your-cat-to-a-new-feline/ I hope that helps and all is well with Oliver and the new kitten.
