My puppy has a mark after playing outdoors. Is it an insect bite?

Found this mark on my puppy. We’ve been out all day at a lake and by water and long grass. She’s been laying down in and playing in. Not sure if she got bit. Just wanted a professionals opinion. It doesn’t hurt when I touch it and I can’t rub it off. She is completely fine behavior wise. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 months and 11 days old | 35 lbs

This is likely some sort of insect bite. As long as she is acting normal and it doesn't seem to be causing a problem, there's nothing that needs to be done. Just keep an eye on it for any changes. These usually get more faint and eventually disappear after 5-10 days. If you happen to notice the mark get bigger, or a wound develops, then it would be best to take her to a vet for an evaluation.
