My hamster has a discolored belly and armpit lump. Could it be cancer?

I think I already know the answer to this :( does this look like cancer? Snoopy also has a bead/pea size tumor under his front armpit. The area on his belly isn’t bleeding just discolored or bruised maybe. He’s 2 and a half years old and I’ve had him since he was born (from one of my other hamsters). I just noticed both lumps a couple days ago and honestly didn’t expect him to still be alive. (I can’t get a good pic of the armpit lump). Pics are 2 days apart.getting worse. :( I’m very sad

I am so very sorry to hear of your concern for Snoopy. It is difficult for us to say without being able to palpate/feel the area. A tumor or cancer is possible but we could also possibly have an abscess or wound here- if he had somehow injured himself on his cage or if he is with another hamster who injured him. I think it is worth bringing Snoopy to a vet if you are able for an exam.
