My cat screamed after I stepped on her. How to check for injury?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 2 months and 21 days old

I accidentally stepped on my cat , i didn't really see which part because i freaked out , she screamed and ran but when i went to check on her she seemed fine and after that she started playing and running normaly, i carried her and checked her paws and everything and she seems fine, but i still want to know how to make sure that she's okay and nothing hurts her?

I am sorry to hear about Kiara! I would watch her walk around and be sure she isn't limping. Check each foot including the toes, and flex and extend each of her 4 legs checking for sensitivity/swelling/bruising, check along her tail, and gently press along her spine. If nothing abnormal is noted I would not be concerned. If she does have a painful area or swelling/bruising then a trip to the vet would be recommended.

    Poor girl! If she is walking around okay and acting normal and she isn’t breathing heavy then she is likely okay. Of course I cannot say for sure without seeing her. To be 100% sure, I would have your vet or local emergency vet take a look at her. They will be able to do chest and abdomena X-rays to ensure everything looks okay. they will also be able to start her on pain meds if needed. I hope this Helps !
