Why is my 8-week-old Husky puppy bloated? Is it GDV or worms?

This presentation is very likely due to worms, which are causing the bloat. With appropriate medications the worms will die (you will find them in the feces dead or still alive) and the bloat will progressively disappear. Mild constipation will resolve as well when parasite infestation resolves.

It's very likely he is bloated due to the worms, once the deworming will be completed this issue should resolve. another thing that is common in young puppies is bloating after a large meal, this also tend to resolve by the age of 3 months.

I would recommend a vet check to determine if there are nay underlying medical causes but the fact she eats well is a good sign. Monitor for regular stools and no pain or vomiting and ensure she is dewormed regularly with an appropriate puppy wormer (every 2-4 weeks depending on the product). It could be that Ranger has intestinal worms causing his belly to be bigger than usual. They can be very common in young dogs. His belly could also be bigger if he had a large meal. 8 week old puppies, even large breed ones, have pretty tiny stomachs, and they also have poor abdominal musculature development at this stage. Those 2 factors can cause you to really be able to see their abdomen bulging when the stomach is full or water or food. So that might be one reason you're seeing this. The other reason could be that Mishka has intestinal parasites. They are very common in young puppies, so if she hasn't been dewormed, this should be done, at least twice (3 - 4 weeks apart). It's also a good idea to have your vet check a stool sample. You can buy dewormer over the counter in most pet stores; follow the directions on the package.

Even if there aren't visible worms in the stool it may be a good idea to deworm her anyway to see if it helps as some parasites can be microscopic. If deworming doesn't seem to solve the issue, having your vet take a look to rule out any more serious problems such as an allergy, deformity, GI issue, etc, is best.

You are correct - some worms (such as roundworms or hookworms) can cause the abdomen to have a round or bloated appearance. Puppies typically require at least 2 courses of dewormers 2-3 weeks apart to remove the worm burden. If you haven't done so yet, consider taking another stool sample for both Hank and Tucker to your vet to see if additional parasites are present. Young, growing puppies also do not have the abdominal muscle development of an adult dog and often inherently have a bloated appearance after eating that resolves in an hour or so. They are on a good quality food, so as long as they have no other signs of GI upset, I would not change the diet or become overly concerned.
