Dog's surgery wound has pus, pain, and panting. Vet tonight?

Question

My dog had surgery to remove a retained testicle nearly 2 & half weeks ago and now a thick brown puss is coming from the wound. He is panting excessively and has a runny nose. he is still drinking and eating and going out to the toilet. I can tell he is in pain. Can this wait until morning to contact a vet or should I find somewhere to see him tonight? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 82 lbs

If thick brown puss is coming from a wound I would recommend bringing him to a vet as soon as possible. If it ends up being nothing major at least they can provide him pain medication to help him feel better.
