Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | neutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 28 lbs
My 4 year old male Boston Terrier has 3 small red lumps under his back leg, and the hair seems to be missing from the spot, and he was licking at it. I suspect it might be a bug bite, my family gave him half of a Benadryl and I'm wondering if I should give him some hot spot medication

This looks like an area of skin infection. The smaller two bumps are pustules and the larger area is a pustule that has ruptured. Sometimes, if confined to a small area, these can be treated with topical antibacterial medication. If, however, it is more widespread your dog may need oral antibiotics. I hope this helps.
