My pregnant dog has worms. Can I safely deworm her during pregnancy?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | 2 years and 9 months old | 65 lbs

Ok my female is pregnant and she has worm. is it safe to give her worming medication.

Yes, it is safe to deworm a dog during pregnancy. Fenbendazole is a good wormer that is absolutely safe to use to reduce the worm burden. There are other wormers you can use as well. Make sure you read the instructions, they should also tell you whether a particular wormer is safe to use in a pregnant dog.

    A pregnant dog can be dewormed with certain medications. Drontal AllWormer (praziquantel, pyrantel, febantel) can be used in pregnant dogs. You should treat her and the environment for fleas since they spread tapeworms. You can use Frontline on her and Frontline Spray on the pups. Treat the environment as well by vacuuming everywhere and washing all bedding in the hottest water allowable by fabric. Use an area treatment afterwards to prevent reinfestation.
