Pet's info: Dog | Lhasa Apso | Male | neutered | 3 years and 9 months old
I have a lhasa apso of approx four years. He stopped eating from past few days so we took him to a local vet and he was given tick fever injection and some fluids in his veins. But as we returned home my dog started vomiting yellow foamy liquid, so we took him to other vet in an emergency the very next day. He did some test and results came,I have attached the test results.DR is saying my dog is having kidney infection and it could be life threatening,I am very much concerned. How serious it is?

The BUN and creatinine values are extremely high indicating that the kidneys are not working to clear the toxins out of his blood stream and this is very serious and indeed potentially life threatening. The low red blood count or anemia is also a concern and may be linked either to blood borne parasites or kidney failure. Intensive fluid treatment and kidney support is required, in many cases of sudden onset kidney injury in younger dogs, recovery is possible if there is enough normal kidney working in the short term
