My picky dog likes Solid Gold wet food. Is it premium? Rotate proteins?

Is solid gold wet food is a good quality food. My dog was on home diet because he woulsnt eat commercial food. He just tried solid gold and lik it. I would like to make sure is a premium dog food. Woupd i be able to change the protein or should i stick to one so he doesnt get bored. Thanks. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 15 lbs
