My dog has a lump on his neck that burst overnight. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 15 lbs

I ask a expert this morning about a big ball on my dogs neck that just showed up over night we i believe its not a tumor the week prior he had a big ball over night show up on the same side but the armpit it was oozing gave him antibiotic two days it went down gone so I gave him some antibiotic last night and again a little while ago he's been asleep underneath the bed and came running out from underneath the bed with his head and neck drenched and the bubble was not no longer there what do I do

Ideally, he should be examined by your veterinarian. Never medicate a pet without the advice of your veterinarian. Inappropriate antibiotic use can lead to resistant bacteria and may complicate any underlying conditions, possibly delaying diagnosis. The lump may have been a cyst or abscess that ruptured. If it is bleeding, painful or if the discharge doesn't stop, then have Rocket seen at the nearest veterinary ER tonight. If Rocket is not bleeding, painful and behaving normally, clean the area with a warm washcloth or pet wipe and have him examined tomorrow.
