I am sorry to hear about Saleen. Treatment will depend on exam findings. Depending on degree of swelling and appearance an X-ray may be recommended if amy suspicions of boney changes. A cytology of the skin may be done to check for presence of bacteria or yeast. Treatment may include oral antibiotics or antifungals, or medicated foot soaks. Pain medication or anti inflammatory medication may also be prescribed.
