My dog has a hard, non-oozing lump on his neck. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 15 lbs

Week ago he woke up with huge ball under his armpit that was oozing gave him antibiotic get the wound bandaged and cleaned he lost a lot of leakage yesterday morning he woke up with a huge ball on the side of his neck but it's not oozing it's hard and barely moves but I don't think that it's hurting him it doesn't look like a wound it's under the fur but what do I do for him

I am sorry to hear about rocket! We can have a firm swelling when an abscess or pocket of infection is first developing. We can also have a swelling as a granulomatous or inflammatory reaction to something like a foreign body (such as a splinter or grass awn). We can also have tumors develop suddenly. I would recommend having Rocket’s vet re-examine him to check out this swelling.
