My 64-day pregnant pitbull is tired, thirsty, no puppies. C-section?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old

I have a pregnant pitbull who’s 64 days pregnant and hasn’t had her puppies yet and she’s been really tired and thirsty. And I’m worried she will need a c-section.

Dogs are on average 63 to 65 days pregnant, some up to 68 days. So there is no need to panic yet. Here is some good information for you to read: https://www.petcoach.co/article/whelping-giving-birth-in-dogs/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/dystocia-difficulty-giving-birth-in-dogs/
