My 12-year-old dog's paw wound won't heal and is getting worse?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 12 years and 5 months old | 55 lbs

Hi... My 12 year old pups has gotten a wound which doesnt heal.. Her vet has given he a cream which doesnt work so far. Instead of healing and drying off, it keep getting worst and "teary"...she tries to walk but of course with her right back paw being the way it is, it is impossible. This has been almost 2 weeks and Im so concerned it doesnt heal.. Pls help!!

Poor Cubbie! I am very concerned by looking at the photos that this may be a tumor that has become infected. I would have her rechecked or seek a second opinion. A topical cream is not going to do anything for this as the infection is too deep. Your pet may need surgery to remove this and an oral antibiotic to control the infection.
